The Globe wants to know, What would you change about Boston? Unfortunately they only want 75 words, not a lengthy jeremiad, but it's still a good query:

What could be done to make Boston a better city in the next five years? What would be your priority - housing, city government, medicine, transporation, the environment, the arts? Urban planning boys (you know who you are), take note. ;-) My response was all about law enforcement, starting with gang violence and gun control, which something tells me won't make the cut, since the Globe seems to have a self-imposed embargo about this particular local epidemic...grrrrrr.
